Gibson Steps.

l needed another shot, to feel more of that salt water in my veins, the cravings are more hungry than ever before, the wanting and needing is now beyond my control, every moment l become more desperate, despair creeps into my bones and rage fills my mind, how can l reach you and feed my desire and feel you in my veins, you are my lifeblood, you are the ocean.

Milford Sound

Next time take me with you.

l want to smell the air and feel the land,
l want to see it with through my eyes, l want to know the magic that lies beneath the surface and talk the language of it’s ancestors. Take me with you so l can hear it whisper my name in the wind and than l will know that l have really been there. Just like you.

And in my dream your magic filled the air, like a rainbow that sang with the joyfulness of the colours it displayed, l stood at the pinnacle as your magic raised my spirits higher, here is where l want to be and you are what l want to see.

Seascape Workshops

“Never turn your back on the ocean” Kieron Letts put together a great blog post after attending our Port Campbell Photography Workshop. Many thanks Kieron. We still have places available for our next Photography Workshop in February.https://www.darrenjbennettphotography.com/product/workshops/

“Never turn your back on the ocean.” A clear caution from one of the professional photographers and certainly the most important piece of advice I got during my two-day photography workshop along the Australian coastal shoreline.

Point Roadnight Sunset

Here in Melbourne we’ve had a couple of extremely hot days as far as the weather is concerned and l felt a shift in the weather cycle so l decided to take a quick drive out to Point Roadnight along the Great Ocean Road in Anglesea and l have to say tonights sunset was up there with the best of them, unfortunately the tide was a little low but l still managed to grab a couple of images that l am happy with.

Private one on one workshops are available, message me for details.

My heart lives within the photograph, every beat breathes new life into the image. My soul lives within the photograph, every moment captured gives me life.
